judgement from China

My wife worked in China but left the company when she did not get paid. She took the company to court in China and they gave her judgement against the responsible person of the company. In China there is no limited liability and the responsible person is responsible for the company debts. However now both she an the responsible person are now both resident in the UK. Can she enforce the judgement of the Chinese court here in the UK

Quite what this has to do with Crown Currency (a money-changer that went bust some years ago) rather escapes me.0

In answer to the question the answer is 'yes' it is possible but very expensive and unless the amount is large, the cost of enforcement is not worthwhile. The issue for an English court might also be whether Chinese law does not recognise incorporation as presumably, the judgment is against the company and not an individual. This will require specialised legal advise which is expensive0
