Google the title thread, press the little arrow down next to the URL, click cached. It should come up with the original.

as a TL: DR Op was hoping to leave job early, employer refused. he didn't get a pat on the back for finding a new job and is upset.

Thinks 35-50 year olds simply don't understand the needs of a 28 year old child.

I just get an error page, same as when I googled how to do it :rotfl:

I shall ask work if I can go early to brush up on my IT skills.

I think Google only caches every few hours so this "rant" was presumably not up for long enough to be recorded for posterity!

Generally, if I reply to an OP, I quote the whole thing then highlight the relevant parts for just this reason.

I find it grossly rude when people ask for advice then delete the original question.

+1 for this view of rudeness. Which makes the OP's statement 'I've deleted because the replies are rude' somewhat ironic............ :D
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Sorry, marliepanda, it was "this" what? What did it say? I love the "28 year old child" bit. I keep saying it's too darned early for snow!

Missed it! Are you sure he was 28? It's possible there was a training day.....
