                    Hi,
So I am new to company sick pay scheme. My employer sick pay scheme says, from 6months till 3years, I am entitled to 2 working weeks full pay.
What does that mean ? I need an example. From my understanding it says, in 12 months I can only get sick for 2 weeks? What if I’m sick let’s say 2 weeks in jan and another 2 weeks in March for example ? Bit confused, please help me with an example.

Within the relevant period (and it may commonly be a rolling 12 months) toy will get up to two weeks of full pay as sick pay. Anything else is statutory sick pay. So in March you'd get SSP assuming you qualify- and quite possibly a sickness absence warning for too much time off sick!0

When is your 12 months calculated?
Is it a rolling 12 months e.g. you take two weeks off on the 1st Feb and then you will not get any paid sick days again until following Feb.
 Or
Is it in a set period e.g April to March so if you are off sick in March for two weeks and you are off sick again in June for two weeks you are eligible to another two weeks pay.0

It says, sick pay entitlement per 12 consecutive months. So in 12 months, I can only be sick for 2 weeks overall ? Or I can be sick in jan and later June, both 2 weeks each in order to get company sick pay?
Also what if I’m sick for 3 days, do I still get company sick pay ?0

In any 12 month period, you can only have a maximum of 2 weeks paid sick leave. So if you had 2 week s paid sick in Jan 2018, you won't get any more sick pay until Jan 2019 (or Feb - depending on the dates off sick)0

Okay, what if it’s less than 2weeks? Eg, 4 days sick, Do I still get company sick pay?0

Two weeks a year is 4% and is an accepted norm.(except for civil servants).
It should be an average, so one could expect to routinely take below three days a year, allowing for that protracted period *at some time* like a broken arm.0

Its scary that people worry about sick pay before they are even sick
If you didn't get sick pay, would you go sick?0
