Insurance policies and BR/DROS

Hey all
I'm BR (11 months until discharge!) and my wife is filing for a DRO this week
We are in need of new pet insurance, and soon new car insurance.
Will we have issues signing up for these? Do we have to claw through each T&C's about a BR/insolvency clause?
My gran has offered to pay for the pet insurance for now, will this be an issue ie having the policy in my name but her paying?
Any advice on insurance policies would be great, thank you

Never had a problem myself, you are not credit checked as such, more of an identity check.
Insolvency has the same effects whether in bankruptcy/DRO or IVA insurance was never a problem, even paying monthly.
Dont think "have you ever been bankrupt" was ever asked, but maybe best to check.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
