I’m discharged in 4 days and want to say a thanks for all the helpful info these forums have given me.
I owed 35k in bank loans and credit cards and the whole process was so easy and hassle free for me. I was given an IPA of £42 a month but I paid this off in full last November so come discharge day in a few days time I’m free from my debts at long last.
Thanks again everyone

All the best my friend. Your situation is nigh on identical to mine. Similar amounts, my mum also paid my IPA in full a month before my discharge and the IPA cannot be reinstated.
So we can now move on with our lifes. I got a better paid job a couple month after discharge and haven't looked back.0 -

I didn't realise you could pay off a 3 year IPA early. I hope you don't mind me asking, were you gifted the money to pay it off? I would presume your SOA wouldn't allow you to save enough that quickly?0 -
Yes, my parents gifted me the money to clear the IPA, once done I received confirmation by email and post within a few days that my IPA was finished
