mortgage after bankruptcy

just wanted to do a little update on my previous threads and say that my boyfriend is 4 years out of bankruptcy and was trying to get a mortgage.
he was approved with a credit score with Skipton but then declined due to their "internal criteria"
he was even declined with a 17% deposit.
WE went to a broker and he has been approved with Nationwide.
Thought this might help someone else in the same position
