Hi...daughter registered as a self employed nail tec / beautician....as you can imagine completion is tough so she's not going many hours or clients....but doesn't want to give up the business....seeing as she has a young child the flexible hours are great.....
Now she's in the process as setting up a second business working from home.....does she need to register this second business separately with hmrc...or can she just combine the two...she didn't register an actual name for her nail business (was optional) although she does have business cards...she has yet to decide on a name for the second business....obviously she will be doing it all legal, but we are not sure about the registration part...TIA

If your daughter is self employed, where she conducts her business is largely irrelevant. (well except for expenses purposes) so no need to register twice0 -
Thank you....so even though it is two different types of business, she can just submit earnings all as one.0
