British Steel Pension Scheme-

ambersinead
ambersinead Posts: 2 Newbie
Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me.
I had a british scheme pension scheme which started in 2007 and ended in 2011 when I left the business.
I forgot about it up until today... I called the company who advised that as the scheme has now closed and they are taking no new contributions it would be in my best interest to transfer this to another company.
They advised me I should get some advice before doing so... I don't really understand what this means, who to ask and where do I transfer it to?
any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Guys!!
