NHS Widening Access A Few Questions

in Cutting tax
I qualify for the Widening Access Training Scheme as I trained as a midwife in 2006-2008 from nursing.
I have received a refund today of only £2,000 as my NHS employer sent the wrong earnings into HMRC. (They are going to hopefully rectify this).
I have a few questions...
* Should I be getting my tax refunded on everything that I have earned including unsocial hours payments or just my basic salary?
* If I worked during my training doing bank shifts or work on the ward that I worked on as a nurse should I be getting a tax refund for those payments also?
* I was on top band 5 pay for 18 months. What should I expect to receive in total once it has been sorted out?
TIA

Hi
As far as I am aware it would only be refunded on the payments you received as part of your course and not any other additional workDMP started 1st July 2012
