What value of good is duty/vat exempt from US. I was looking at a necklace on Etsy costing £56 + £12 post. Would this be free of duty?

Anything over £15.
Import VAT (if over £15) is charged on top of the purchase price though Customs Duty is waived if the amount of the calculated duty payable is £7 or less.
Please note there is also an £8 Parcel Force Fee for collecting the Import VAT.!
So VAT plus £80 -
