Parents applying for student loan after redundancy

We will be resubmitting student loan applications for both of our children next month. This year, loans will be based on taxable earnings in 2015/16 during which time my husband received a tax free redundancy payment and tax free pension fund cash. Will we have to declare these one off payments and will they affect the loans the students are given? There seems to have been a lot of confusing advice given about this in previous years' forums? Can anyone help please, especially if you've had personal experience? Thank you

The redundancy payment is not classed as income.
The pension i believe is though.0 -
I wouldnt take a chance by asking strangers on the inernet (no insult intended, Bengalknights). The gov.uk website says that pensions do count;
https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-student-finance/household-income
The same website has a link for contact student finance, Id suggest you ask them direct.0
