Frozen Turkeys -Half Price at Tesco

Forgive me, I try not to post on this forum coz i think everything's already been found! But I think the frozen turkeys have just gone half price at Tesco. I bought a beautiful HUGE bernard matthews turkey, normally £26, now just £13.
Feeds 14 people  , they had Tesco's own small and medium turkeys for £8 and £10.

Thanks, Jennio - I always buy a big turkey but ours feeds 2 people 7 times rather than 14 separate people, lol!
Did you know that there's more meat on a large chicken than there is on a small turkey - something to do with a larger carcass, apparently.

There's only 2 of us as well really but I figure there's plenty of dishes I can make with Turkey leftovers as well as freezing it! :p

Just before you all go rushing off to Tesco, I thought I'd let you know I've just picked up three 2.5kg birds with a best before date of end of 2008 for 50p each so if you've got an Iceland near you have a look first.

    Good luck.

Off to post on the grabbit board now.
