Hiya
Last month I got sent a letter from the Inland Revenue to say that my code has changed to NT. I'm still paying tax on my part time jobs at the usual rate and wondered if that was right. Do the IR inform my employers that I am BR ? Does anyone know ?
Thanks

the inland revenue should contact all your employers, but you couod also give them a call😁0

When you are bankrupt you should be paying no tax at all as HMRC told me that they had no right to take it during the bankruptcy.
I thought it was a bit strange.0 -
Or will inform the Inland revenue or whatever they are calling themselves this week. It is down to them to apply the NT code to your salaries. If you have not had it applied to all your income, I would get in touch and let them know so that you don`t end up with back tax bill.
The tax you would normally be paying goes into your estate for distribution to creditors.1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42
