It is what we are used to on here, that was the only reason I suggested it, but it is up to you in the end :)

Petrol mate, travel to and from work. I also care for my mother who is recovering from surgery so visit her 4 nights a week, unfortunatly she lives another 20 miles from where I live. Then I visit my girlfriend who also lives about 5 miles away. All in all I do a fair few miles!!

ah right. put it down if this is the true amount, but keep your receipts from now on, as the OR might ask for proof with it being high

    hope that helps
  • Am assuming you are a teacher and you are living on your own. What is your wage?

The OR will allow journeys to and from work but you may have a fight for him to allow the extra for journeys to see your mum and girlfriend. But keep reciepts as Confused has said and see what happens.

I thought I might have done but would rather do that than sell myself short. Yes I am a teacher, bring home around 1800 pm. Is there anything else I should have added? Thansk btw
