She's computer illiterate, but learning slowly so I'll be posting for her until she has her own account.
First thing which drastically needs addressing is their Joint account. It's being overspent by £40 a week! Which means it's going to overdrawn again anyday now.
We finally managed to get it into the black thanks to a lovely years payment of Child Tax Credits in a lump. But that basically got the account to zero.
Will post a full SOA when I can get the info but so far....
Income
£400 from father, per month
Outgoings
All the D/Ds
Mortgage
Food
The one which needs help is food - the idea is £100 per week but it's going over that and needs to be cut down
The only problem is, I have a cow's milk intolerance and don't eat meat (only fish) so at least two different meals need to be cooked most days. I also have to avoid too much wheat and gluten but can have some (therefore cake etc is mega expensive).
Breakfast - we all eat here, generally cereal or toast.
Lunch - dad and brother buy lunch out, mother takes sandwiches, I vary between sandwiches and eating here
Dinner - we all eat a meal here
Any ideas of a rough budget and a way to implement it?
