Whats the difference?

When a recipe says use oats does it matter what oats you use ie rolled oats? as you can get a massive bag for 39p but I dont understand what the difference is supposed to be

i have no idea either lol but i use tesco value oats whenever a recipe asks for oats and always turns out good0

I think it is about texture. Rolled oats or value oats will give less texture than, say jumbo oats, which are bigger. The taste will be the same though.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Try whizzing cheap oats in the food processor if you need them fine textured eg for coating fish - works wellIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0
