Don't forget that if you do buy a new computer from Dell you can use Quidco. The 4% saving will bring your total saving to 19%.

I called them a day after the coupon expired and asked them if they'd honor it. After speaking to 4 consecutive reps somewhere in Indai he told me he'd give me what equated to 9-10% off. But then there was the admin charge and the fact that they would only give me 48 months credit instead of a buy now pay next year deal. I didn't want to pay the interest and the Admin was something like £49. I told them to forget it and bought a top spec brand new Dell from eComputers on ebay with a 3 year onsite warranty. And it worked out cheaper than the lower spec model from Dell!

I wonder what a good price is now for the Dell XPS420 system. Although there don't appear to be any discount codes at the moment, their website does show that there is £130 off the model that I want to buy - and this discount expires July 23rd.

The base system I have specced comes to £620 - If I factor in the 4% for Quidco referral then I guess this is as good as (or better) their normal price with a 15% voucher code?

Or do people think that it is still worth waiting for another voucher to come along? I'm not familiar with how Dell offer discounts on their website but assume that they follow rules like the high street i.e. they can't say it's a discount if they don't actually have it on sale at the higher price for a given length of time?
