To celebrate the screening of Truffaut's classic Jules et Jim from 30 May - 12 June, the Watershed Media Centre in Bristol has teamed up with BFI to offer three lucky French Magazine readers some excellent film buff prizes. Truffaut's masterpiece of the French New Wave employs real locations, lightweight cameras and breathless editing techniques to present the fin-de-siècle story of uncompromising friendship and uncontrollable love. We have three great prizes for the first, second and third entrants randomly selected after the closing date.
First prize: A copy of The French Cinema Book edited by Michael Temple and Michael Witt, a copy of Jacques Rivette's Paris Nous Appartient on DVD and a cinema voucher
Second prize: A copy of Jean Luc Godard's 'Bande a part', plus a cinema ticket voucher
Third prize: A cinema ticket voucher
