OH's son going to University hamper

OH's son is going to University at the end of the month.

He doesn't live with us, but I see him every now and again and I've done him a little 'student survival' hamper.

Quite pleased with it really, there are a few other bits hidden at the back, one bar of chocolate I bought didn't fit in, so that's had to go in the fridge ;)

Hi Keren - that hamper looks great...:T I'm sure he will be thrilled with it (particularly as I think I spy a bottle of something interesting behind that Pot Noodle, plus a bottle opener, in there!!;)).

The only obvious thing I think you've missed out is the tin of baked beans and the tin of tomatoes  - every student needs these for emergency rations halfway through term when they've spent all their money in the student bar...:rotfl: (particularly as you've already put it in the bag of pasta - tricolour, no less - clearly a posh student...he'll make friends easily with that kind of store cupboard!! :p).

A really nice idea. I hope he has a great time at university! :D

It's thoughtful of you to go to the trouble of doing that. He's lucky to have you as a Stepmum.
  • I tweaked it a bit later in the day. I managed to fit a glass in and a couple of sachets of hot chocolate. I also popped a packet of paracetamol in and a packet of cold capsules in.

Might see if I can squeeze a can of beans in.....I've got a cupboard full!!!!!
