If you read the tick box stuff all it's saying is that you agree to receive stuff from the "Discovery" channel with whom this comp is being run in conjunction with (to promote the new, Discovery "Shed" channel). It's not saying they will share with anyone else.
I think this is OK, but I take your points that it is a bit "naughty".0 -
