Don't do it.

They are the WORST online retailer ever! It is not worth the hassle in trying to get the money back that they overcharge you on their 'sale' items.

CS 'Oh yes, I can see you have been overcharged but no, sorry I cannot give you a refund the online department have to do that'
me: Can I speak to them then?
CS: No, sorry, they do not deal with customers over the phone. Have you emailed?
me: Yes, 3 times
CS 'Oh, sorry. Try again, if you get no joy you'll have to contact Head Office'

2 months later I got my money back, but not because they accepted they were wrong and sent the refund but they 'refunded me' for a '10% discount code not added' twice. I broke even and decided there and then that I'd never spend another penny online.

No doubt as per normal the site will crash for days so you will only be able to shop "instore" and anything you manage to get online you will probably get an email 2/3 days later saying it's not in stock.

I love Debenhams, but I wish they'd get their site, their customer service (which is dreadful) and their stock availability sorted.

More like 2-3 weeks, it'll still be showing as instock online though, you can still order it and they'll still take your money for it. For such a huge company their online and customer service is abysmal and I really have no idea why on earth people still use them!

Be careful if using discount codes that are around. There have been a occasions where free delivery codes & discount codes have been accepted at the checkout, yet the discounts have not been honoured. Eventually had money refunded, but it was far from easy!

99.9% of it was vile anyway, stuff that had been on their site for ages, anything that was actually decent only had almost nothing knocked off.

I wouldn't have paid 50p for some of the stuff they had on sale, you may have been fairly pleased if someone had it on a school jumble sale table though.

Just wondering if anyone knows when the Debenhams sale ends? I planned on popping into town tommorow to pick up a few bits but don't want a wasted journey if it's already finished.
