Aldi/Lidl

Options
Hi,

Does anyone know the rough opening times of these, I'm going to give one a try (probably Lidl) but as its a bit of a drive, I want to be sure they are open late tonight, and I can't find opening hours on there website. Also, can you tell me do lidl do fruit and veg?

Thanks

160.

I'm not sure of the opening times, I suspect they may vary from store to store.

They both do a limited range of fruit and veg, it is often on offer at half price at Lidl!

I think their fruit and veg range is quite good now and as you say lidl often at half price, mainly on saturdays,

Our Lidl is open until 8pm, and does fresh fruit & veg. There is a No: to call to find out the opening times of the one in your area: 0870 444 1234

Aldi is open until 5.30 & also does fruit & veg.

For Aldi try here you can search for local stores and they give opening times.

Cool my local one is open to 7pm every week day.

Lidl are not so helpful. Give me map to get there but no opening times.

Because shopping for the best produce at the best prices has always been 'old style'? It's something that a lot of people don't do anymore, they head straight for the nearest and biggest supermarket where they can get everything under one roof, instead of shopping around and making the most of their money :(

If you go to the Aldi & Lidl websites you can sign up for the emails of their weekly special offers, they usually send the email out a week before the offers are in store so you get prior warning of any good bargains/deals.

Lidl often do promotions on their fruit & veg, usually half-price.
