Just returned from a break in Valencia and OETKB daughter has spilled a fizzy cranberry drink - she says - on the carpet and it is bigger than an A4 page. She says she tried to remove it with a cleaner I had in the cupboard (oxy-gel something?) and then white vinegar. I suspect it's really red wine. She has also got 2 cigarette burns on the carpet but that is a different story.
She frequently spills cola and the oxy thing usually works on that. My biggest money saving thing ever would be her moving out!

Not very money saving but:Js_Other_Half wrote:I used Wine Away from LAKELAND. It costs £8.95 for 360ml, but is worth every penny. I don't know if it works on hard surfaces, but did a fabulous job on my sofa and new beige wool carpet! <it was a housewarming party! ::)>
