PCworld have lost our credit agreement

I got a TV on finance at PCworld on there 6months interest free agreement, with the intention of paying this off before the 6 months is over.
However I've just had a letter from DSG Retail Limited stating that there Finance Company has not received the original agreement and can i mail/fax them a copy of my copy, within the next 14days. So they have basicly lost the agrement.
Now that would be fine except i to have long since lost my own copy of the original agreement.
So i phoned them with no answer, I still intend to pay this off before the 6months is up, however i'm not going to chase them or go out of my way over there mistake.
The letter was dated 24th feb, i recieved this yesterday! so thats 8 days already gone in this 14 day limit they have imposed on a responce from me.
Whats going to be the consequence of ignoring this 14 days, like i said I'm not gonna go out of my way over this.
I'll try ringing again tommorrow but behond that the letter is going to the back of the drawer.

I don't think your under any legal obligation to provide a copy of the agreement to the creditors? Who should have passed the Finance Company a copy of the agreement, your or PC World (My guess PC World)?

DSG is the owner of PCworld and it was there responsibility to pass the agreement on.
Unfortunately i don't have a copy any more either, so we could be in a predicament situation (PCworld and myself)

I have a feeling that if they have lost their copy of the CA then they can't enforce it, which is probably why they're hoping to get a copy from you otherwise they are a bit stuffed.

I'm not 100% but try asking the same question over at the Debt-Free Wannabe board as many people there are far more knowledgeable about your rights in these kinds of situations.
