Do any of you Ol'Style junkies get ya fix elsewhere. As if this board wasn't enough to satisfy the most addicted vinegar user ::) What other Ol'Style Sites are out there and are they any good. :-/
I came across an American called MainStreetMoms. I think it is for women only (they're not as enlightened as us Brit's) ;D I havn't registered cos I couldn't think up a decent female user name. The only one I could come up with was 'BETTY TRUMPS' Do you think they would sniff me out? :-[

LOL @ Caterina ;D My sister lives in Texas and they do her head in. She has a very dry British sense of humour and they just don't get it Even with a username like BETTY TRUMPS I bet they don't twig.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

There are a couple of american sites that have very informative free e-newsletters, can't remember off the top of my head but I receive them and next time I ge them I shall post the link.
This is the best place, though, in my opinion!
First because it is so full of experts from all walks of life, you can ask about washing machines, mortgages, cherry pie, you name it, there is someone who knows about it.
Another strong point that we have is that it is UK based advice. All the coupon advice in the world does not help me if it is USA based!
And then also because people here are (mostly) very friendly!!!
Ciao all

I've looked at lots of the other ones suggested but always come back here. I feel at home on this site. Every so often I look at the others I've bookmarked and usually wonder why I did :o Also, it's the time factor - I seem to spend so much of my rather limited time on here that I don't have the chance to explore elsewhere ???0

I started with the newsgroup misc.consumers.frugal-living .
Again it's very American, but generally stays very much on-topic.
Can be viewed via google for those without newsreaders:

give lots and you will always recieve lots0
