  (taken from Northwave website: Starting off with Northwave boots in ‘91, Drake Bindings in ‘97, acquiring Bakoda in ‘98, and kicking off year two with Drake Snowboards; Northwave has established itself as a pioneer in production of quality snowboard equipment.)
