  • I have to admit that that made me laugh, but I guess it's not funny really. Have you paid him? Could you talk to him about the photos on his site, and express your concerns? It's really not something you want to be worrying about for the next 5 months!

    Good luck!

Eek! It's a tricky one because I know some photographers who get really funny if anyone criticises their photos and take it personally!

You could try talking to him in advance and say you want the photos to look traditional and not as 'experimental' as the recent ones on his Facebook have been!

I have paid a small deposit, im in total shock these phots just dont fit with the other 100+ albums he has on there, i can only assume that its not his work and maybe his assistants, im hoping that anyway. As the 2 styles do not match up, unless he's braching out.

Or maybe, the request from the couples were for 'edgy' photos, Or maybe he was bored and posted to see if anyone noticed ;)
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:

Maybe they were the rejected photos?

Im not going to put a link, its not fair as i havent had a
chance to discuss this with my photogrpher yet. He has exceptional reviews and everyone is entitled to an off day, as long as its not my wedding that he decides to have his off day.

The client seems happy with her pics so i suppose thats all that matters.

I was just wondering what i should do and how do i word it so that i dont ring him up and go ARE YOU CRAZY!

No photographer in their right mind would let people view ''rejected'' photos, thats just crazy.

You always want to show your best work.

he has over 3000 friends on there of people who have had, or are going to have photos done, there would be NO benefit for him to show rejected photos, he'd loose to much business.

I just meant you'd have some second opinions then..all you can do is politely say what you said in your first post...

The head cutting off could be an upload glitch with FB or perhaps even his account has been hijacked. Or maybe the 'wrong' or slanty images were out of style by special request, just pick uo the phone and have a chat with the guy, you obviously get on as you got your kit off 'for him';). Dont worry, tell him you booked him on the strength of his previous work and this is what you are expecting .....
;) Hiring a wedding photographer? Remember to check out their samples and previous work before you book ! ;)
