we are continually bombarded with adverts about debt and debt management agencies. some say they can write your debt of within 5 years provided yoy have over £15000 owing and 3 creditors.
do theses agencies actually work. if so how? what do they get out of it and in the long run do you get the advantage, or are you lsisted as a bad debtor for life.

What the debt management companies you see in most adverts get ... is ... a fee which YOU pay for. Money that could be better used to go to your creditors. I'm not an expert but I believe CCCS and Payplan are two organizations who will do the same for nothing, i.e. deal with with your creditors for you. If in doubt consult your local Citizens Advice Bureau first.:j The £2 CSC = £48 in carton£100 banked Mar 06V-Free : 4 weeks
