He was pleasant but I guess assertive????
Yeah, I think face to face will be better for me too as I like to see how people behave and will be able to get a feel for how Im going to get on where as with a phone call there is always preconceptions... So face to face is ok, just dont want to talk about the worst two years of my entire life!!!
Hi Tiger I had my face to face with the OR in Leeds,do you Know his name If its the same one I had hes OK.The triumph of hope over experience

Have a good day.
Have a read through the OR's paperwork when you get back home, & ask questions here if there's something you don't understand.
I think your OR will probably be nicer in person, but regardless of that, you're BR not a murderer, & you're entitled to a certain amount of consideration. Not everyone can take calls at work, plus this is a very personal thing to be discussing on the phone anyway. When my OR called me at work recently, I wasn't remotely amused, because he rang the landline, so I had to keep saying "I can't talk right now, because I'm at work" like a demented parrot until he finally got the message. That just made everyone else's ears perk up, wondering what I was talking about.No-one should be put in that position - it was uncomfortable enough as it was, but could have been even worse if people had then started asking me questions. Explain your work circumstances to him, & say that if he needs to call you on your mobile in future, you'd appreciate it if he either called at the pre-arranged time or left a message to let you know when he'd be free for you to call him back.

Hi all
I had the same problem with an IVA company they kept ringing my mobile at work and i had to keep going and hiding behind the skip at work:D . Did not matter how many times i said don't ring me at work they still did, even ringing the landline one day when the office was full of people:mad: .Why do they do it when the majority of places don't like you to have personal calls. Wonder how the OR would feel if his mate down the road kept ringing him at work:rolleyes: .DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

Hi Tiger, just wishing you all the best for tomorrow.
Take no notice of it being friday the 13th-it's my birthday,so it can't be a bad day for anyone!
Sure it will be fine-I think these officials sometimes just want to 'wrong-foot' people to make sure they are taking it seriously!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0 -
