OK. Good news and bad news.

Got an account statement for the worst cc. Since i set up the dd 7 months ago on min payment only £40 has been cleared. Balance still £1204 :mad: :mad: Must investigate...

Good news, set up a standing order for extra £60 pm to get the bloomin' thing payed off quicker. :A

That means OD will be cleared a bit slower but can live with that.

Wow has it been two months??

Anyway time for a quick update.

£500 O/D now paid off and closed. Now making money instead of costing me

Tesco CC payments increased to MP plus £140 PM SHOULD BE SORTED IN NO TIME.


TC trying to sting us for 1100. Got a fight on our hands, don't think we actually do owe it so should get it sorted.

Debt total now under £14k, might be closer to 13. Will update sig later with exact amount. DSD still Oct 2010.

I also stopped smoking 8 days ago. will help pay off other OD at the rate of about £40 a month if petrol prces plateau for a while.

Ever the optomist, not quite under £14k buit close, will be next month.

Last two months managed to clear £1100 or so.

I was having a double check of everything just now and it appears that i miscalculated how much i thought we were indebt, hence how much ithought i had paid off and what was left to pay...not a happy bunny.

To acheive Debt free status we have to clear £600 a month off our debts.. eeekk

I am annoyed at myself as the target is tougher than i first thought. I am going to post a revised SOA soon also for you all to pick the bones out of to help me and wifie reach this target...your help is muchly appreciated guys..i am trying hard to not lose motivation here...the i feel like i am never going to reach the peak of the mountain.

Now two months on and i have still not relented.. i have managed to pay about 150 off my OD...:beer:

And i have put on nearly 2 stonnes.

Well done! You are doing really well.
We are just about to enter debts of 39K rather that 43K and a bit so wishing we were a bit closer to being debt free like you are.
Keep plodding along and you will get there

I would just like to share with everyone the celebration of the birth of our baby girl Katie-Rose, who was born on the 22nd and weighed 8lb 9oz. Mum and baby are well and her three sisters are very excited....
