Or could we be a bad influence? I'm an 80's girl so my kids LOVE them too - although I'm not sure they've had any choice :rotfl:
You've listed some of my favourite films there
I love Mrs Doubtfire!!
Agree with all the Adam sandler comments. We all love 50 first dates too. And Mr Deeds.
My girls are 11 & 13 but love good old family films. I'm not ready to let them grow up just yet!
For those who like mighty joe young - search for a copy of 'gorillas in the mist' - my girls think this is fab.
Maltilda is good. Dont forget about some of the walt disney classics for slightly older kids. Huck Finn is one. If its for a girl then us girls never grow out of the sound of music/mary poppins etc - never too old
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
There are so many to choose from. Thank you everybody. Keep the ideas coming in.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

I'm going to take a slightly different approach and choose an african theme:-
Duma (2005) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361715/
A Far Off Place (1993) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106868/ (dogs involved were brothers/sisters of our Ridgeback!!)
The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080801/
The Gods Must be Crazy II (1989) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097443/
*The Power of One (1992) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105159/
Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087365/
The Four Feathers (1977) TV http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076047/
Born Free (1966) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060182/
*I have just noted that the Power of One is rated 15 but was originally rated 12 for cinema release. I would reccommend this as a highly inspirational film and rate it as a must see.0 -
