Just got back from Harry Ramsden's and was surprised to see a sign saying they had ceased trading at Yorkgate. All their fixtures and fittings being sold at auction.

I heard from an ex-Harry Ramsdens employee a couple of months ago that it was closing down. Apparently it just wasn't doing much trade anymore.

the store in dundonald has ceased trading quite a while ago
i was in a harry ramsdons in glasgow last week and it was disgusting the usual quality just inst there anymore

I'm not surprised to hear this about the Yorkgate restaurant, the last time I ate there the fish was tiny, the chips weren't nice and service was rubbish. A great pity, as I can remember how good they were when they first opened.
