Lidl's fruit & Veg?

I got there today and yes it is still on half price.I forgot to check when it finishes though!
Its quite good quality at my local, as it has a very high turnover, so they keep stocking up throughout the day.
Good idea about the price match at Asda, for those of you who get manky stuff at your local branches.

The amount of fruit and veg in the Newbury store has dropped over the last week or two and i have had to pop in a few times a week to get any kind of choice.

Today I asked the assistant what the best time to go in was and he told me that they had quality problems with the old supplier and had had to throw away vast quantities. They have a new supplier starting very soon.

Not too up on the logistics but maybe this would also apply to some other Home Counties/Wiltshire/Hampshire?
