Boots adavantage point machine, if at first you don't suceed

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned but thought I'd post anyway as I have seen a few posts saying how people haven't had vouchers in the machine that others have mentioned. I was in Boots the other day and when I put my card in looked through the vouchers and saw one for extra points when I spent £15. I didn't print it as I wasn't planning to spend that much but then saw some bits on offer and added it up. It came to more than £15 so I went back to the machine to get the voucher. It was a different machine and the voucher didn't come up. I thought it might be a case of print it now or you don't get it so hubby suggested trying a different machine. I did and lo and behold it was there. So if your Boots has more than one machine I would definatly say it is worth checking them all if one doesn't come up with many vouchers.

My local Boots has only one AC machine, and that's more often broken than working. I have had the same offers since I had my card about 6 weeks ago, none of them any good!

That's all fine and well if you have good enough eyesight to read the machien yourself. However if you are like me and have extremely rubbish eyesight and need help to use the machien, it is hard enough to first of all FIND a spare member of staff on the shopfloor to come and stand with you and read all the offers, never mind getting a member of staff to read both upstairs machiens then both downstairs machiens of which oens is usually kanckered anyway.

I've complained to Customer Services that I miss otu on offers so feel excluded from the scheme but there's now they can do about it - so I just have to make do with only using it if I have a relativie that is patient enough to use it otherwise I jsut ignore it. When I go up to the Retail Park I always forget to check and see if I can read the ones up there any better as I normally tend to only go into the food and drink section where the machine isn't near enough, owing to most of the food and drink items @ my local branch being removed.
