Doesn't anybody else get fed up with

The same arguments going round and round and round?

Why can't we agree to disagree... it would be a much nicer place.

Unfortunately the Pro-HPC are outnumbered by the No-HPC with the rest in the middle... so its obvious people are going to be dismissed... instead of saying 'houses only ever go up ' their tune changes but still for No-HPC.... they still dismiss us... its their vested interest because they are terrified at the prospect of loosing 20% off their house price it will royally shaft em so will 'fight their corner' so to speak.

With all due respect, what else are people supposed to argue about on a House Price board? Everything is going to be around them going up, going down or staying the same. Each post is evidence pointing to one of these outcomes and the people who don't agree with the evidence are going to argue against it. Essentially every single post degenerates into the same broad argument but I am not sure how it could be any different :)

An in honesty I only peruse HPC because its just too much info going on at once... too many over-analysing almost, and bad mouthing everything they feel is wrong with the economy... its too biased there.

Edited my first post as thought I was being too reactive. I do agree that HPC is very biased but their efforts and arguments are well researched, unlike some posters on here who want to argue just for arguments sake or wind somebody up to get their kicks. I feel MSE is the primary school and HPC the six-formers, if you get my drift.

Edited to say, have been on GHPC before, but don't get it? Maybe its because I have been on HPC for so long, who knows. And TTRTR is on GHPC isn't he... couldn't cope with him again!!

Posting threads about the arguments going round and round is itself part of the normal merry go round.

the thing is, no matter or arguing or denial from them is going to changed the fact that they are fcuked. and I for one am loving every minute of it.

I know that sounds bad, for the past decade they havn't gave a stuff about anyone else except themselves while they thought they were laughing all the way to the bank. now it's us who are laughing and those who laugh last, laugh the loudest!:rotfl:

It'll be great going to dinner parties without the threat of some smug !!!!!! banging on about how much his house has risen in value and what a clever boy he's been.

If that paragraph had been written by someone robbed of the chance of buying a house because of ridiculous hpi which made houses unaffordable to them even though they worked every hour god sent and had saved like crazy i would accept it.

I know it's going to be great! I am going to start conversations like," the type of house I want to buy has dropped £50k in the last year, think I'll wait a bit longer and save another £50k "
