Why hasn't the OR asked for any documents?

Hello all :D

Our 'packs' came through from the OR today, I was expecting to have to provide payslips, bank statements loan agreements et.c etc., and havent' been asked for anything, except to sign a declaration and an ethnic monitoring form?

Is this unusual?

Thanks in advance

MC xx

I wasn't asked either, despite having everything.

It's all still sitting in a bag under my desk 9 months into BR! I'll take a great deal of pleasure in shredding it all soon

They can get whatever they need in the way of statements etc from the banks/credit card companies you have been dealing with. They might not even ask for a payslip - mine was only asked for in order to see what my tax was as I got an NT code.

No it's not unusual at all. They could feel they have enough info from what you have provided on your I&E etc and you have a fairly straight forward case so need nothing from you.

I didn't get asked for anything either - it seems to depend on how complicated your case is, and also on the individual OR.

  • I wasn't asked for anything initially but during the telephone interview, was asked to provide some invoices and corresponding bank statements.
Haven't been asked for loan agreements and other documentation though-including the rest of the bank statements-I keep imagining they might still ask for other stuff as they are going through things.
Seems to vary quite a lot, doesn't it?
    Good luck with everything, anyway.
