10 days for a return telephone call seems to bit excessive.....

they open at 8am i believe... and you may well get through. I did..

Not only are they very strict on their LTV of 80%, but they are very strict with the value they determine. Its their money, and their rules at the end of the day.

Have banked with them for 7-8 years and have only been on hold once that i can recall. Always answer the phone quickly and always seem to know the answer to any questions i have. Their mortgage team has been the same for me so far.

Have you called the mortgage team? I get put on hold (for ages) each time I call them!

I go via the (geographical) banking no Jemm16 posted. I have to hold ages too but at least they keep coming back to you, apologising and telling you where you are in the que. Just wish they'd change their hold music

was referring to my banking... however i have been calling 08456 100 198 and am through within 5 mins tops at varying times of day...

If you have free geographical no's try 0113 2766166, I seem to get through straight away or within a minute at peak times

Just thought I'd add my experience too, I called on Friday to go through the details (took an hour), received illustration with application form on Monday. No ten days delays here but they admit they're taking the full 6-8 weeks to complete the process.
