    Heya Jamie!

Glad you got lots of pressies sorted out yesterday just sorry to hear it was such a mare getting them through the checkout! How frustrating!!! Make sure you use up that last £11.80 though as that is a lot of £££!

Hope your new recipe go well, I tried Salmon Risotto last night as had some Salmon in the freezer and some Risotto rice in the cupboard! Part of my 'using everything up for tea'! Actually tasted very nice and easy to do to but I cooked WAY too much! Have saved some for later but dunno if it will be very edible now!

I am starting to get some use from Quidco! I did my AA cover through it and should be getting £40 my way soon, well next year! Can't wait! Just need to remember everytime I have to buy something, that I check there and Pigsback too!

Your payment a day is certainly adding up! Well done!

Nowt planned for my birthday other than going back to work after having a lovely half term off! I actually haven't accomplished anything that I wanted to do, but have had some time away from work chilling out so that is enough! Hopefully I will have a nice day, not gonna work too hard! Next birthday will be the big 30 so might have to do something special for that one!

Gonna get some brekkie now and try to wake DD from her bed! She is only 12 but definately turning into a teenager already...yesterday she was still in bed at 11am!!! At least she is sleeping I suppose!

    Evening all!

Didnt manage my NSD today as had to pop to the shop, never mind, will be aiming for NSD's thursday through til sunday this week, which should mean I do 5 out of 9 days, Im happy with that!

I have been browsing the houses/flats for sale in my local area today online:D For a small 1 bedroom flat im looking at about 100k!!!!!! shocking! The plan is to save for a house deposit once this debt is cleared and then maybe in 5-8 years buy a small flat to rent out until such times as the kids have left and I can live in it myself! but i am looking at savings as much of a deposit as i can so that the mortgage would be very small. ...ahh, you gotta have dreams:D

donner - happy birthday for tomorrow, hope you have a nice day hun x

Thanks Jamie! Think I might pop to the supermarket after work and get myself something nice for tea...and a great big cake :)

The house/flat thing sounds like a fab idea! I can't wait for the day that I can clear this debt and get somewhere nice for me and DD to live...will be amazing! xxx

  • Hey jamie, there is nothing like dreams and plans. You will get there :)
  • Hi Jamie!

Your NSD was legit - as was mine. I went to Tesco and bought a load of lovely veg as my slow cooker arrived today :o)

The plan is that we'll eat healthier, cheaper, and all eating the same thing - more sociable.

Great plan with the flat. I myself am quite militant about the property situation. Six years ago I had the chance to buy a fabulous big semi with massive garden from my sister in law for £66K. It is now worth about £260. I couldn't buy it because my husband left and divorce ensued. Now, for a first time buyer to buy a family home of that kind it would need a lottery win, and that to me is wrong. If you don't already have a property it is very hard to get one. Well that's me off my soap box LOL!!

    donner - mmmm cake!:D

pap - hows your challenge going?

cat - yes its criminal that 1st time buyers find it so hard to get on the property ladder. never mind we just have to save harder to compensate!!

just finished making up orders, will post tomorrow:) work has been nice and busy lately!

just a last few things to do this evening then off to bed for me:) watching the election coverage on tv atm though.

    Thanks Jamie!

I was due to go back to work today, get there and then find out that DD school had a powercut and kicked out all the kiddies so I had to work from home! Lucky I was allowed...doubt they were very impressed with me though, coming in and then going on my birthday too!

Ended up having some of Em's mates coming here too as they couldn't get home! Been a very noisy house but they have all just left...phew!

Am off out for some foodies tonight...any who knows...maybe some cake! If not, I will make sure I make up for it tomorrow!

Your paid off amount is looking great! HUGE well done to you! :)
