Its so nice to have my kitchen back:) Flooring looks so nice, they did a great job:)

Made a payment to my cc this morning of £3, have to pay my council tax this morning and must remember to set up dd as I keep forgetting...

Watched Jamies Ministry of Food last night, isnt it terrible how so many people cant cook!

This morning is a free morning so will be tackling the dining room and maybe listing a few books on green metropolis, i usually use amazon but will see how GP goes, anybody have a preference??

A big pile of school paperwork to make my way through this evening should keep me fairly busy and getting together the info my accountant needs(yuk tax returns!) I will promise to be more organised next tax year:D

Glad the kitchen is nearly sorted Jamie, is it just the painting left to do now?
I had a major clear out of kitchen stuff when ours was done this year - unfortunately I have now filled it up again with remoskas dehydrators etc:rolleyes: .

Have been watching jamie, supermarkets have a lot to answer for when it comes to people not being able to cook. Before they arrived on the scene when everyone had to shop at the greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers etc they had no choice but to cook from scratch - it's sad that people just don't know how any more:o Time to get back to basics I think;)

    Morning:D

Yes SM just the painting left to do now, which I started on yesterday, gave a mist coat to the bare plaster and will probably sand down the bits that have been fillered today:) Chose my blind yesterday too but that wont go up until all the painting is finished!

Tried my luck at the kingjackpot bingo last night, going through quidco and getting £15 cashback for putting in £10:) Although Im not joining in with the £1000 in 100 day challenge I am thinking about joining the £4k in 365 day challenge for next year.... ive not done anything like bingo through quidco before so I thought i would give it a test run before 2009:D

I tackled the dining room yesterday but still have a long way to go....it is looking much tidier though:)

Will be making my payment a day later, and some good news.......my mum came round yesterday and gave me £100 this is money from my nans will. Havent decided what to do with it yet. I may put it into savings, I think my nan would have liked that. She was a very thrifty woman!! I used to love listening to her stories and was very sad to lose her. I dont need anything right now, so I think putting it away would be a good thing to do!

Well I decided to compromise on the money from my nan. I kept £20 in my purse and paid in £80 to my savings account:) I am going out next weekend for a meal with my girlie friends so I may buy a new top to wear.

Had a chill out day yesterday, went to post office to send off orders and then came home and read before picking dd up at 12. Looks like she will be going in fulltime after half term. She gets so bored in the afternoons and I cant get much done in 3 hours!!!

Have been adjusting budget again :D Things looking good for next year. Im keeping my eye out for a good savings account as I would like to open a regular saver and start paying in from january. I wont need access to the money for a few years so quite happy to tuck it away and not touch it.

Had the renewal forms in for DS3 dla. I will need to get someone to help me with these so must speak to a friend of mine about it. I hate paperwork!!!

    Hi Jamie
I've been going through the xmas stash as well this weekend , not so much checking what I have just trying to remember where I have hidden it all:D . Got it mostly sorted now, just have some things to make into hampers etc then it's done.

Had a weird nights sleep, had lots of dreams and feel tired this morning!

I have a friend coming round this morning to help me with filling in the renewal DLA forms for ds3. they are a nightmare!! Its really kind of her to help.

I have been thinking that I would like to do a bit of volunteering once dd goes full time school(after half term) I will probably ring the sitting service this week and speak to them. They really helped me when I needed it with a few hours a week respite and I would love to give something back....

Oh got the pay wrong for the job, its £1887 per year. Fingers crossed!!!

When dd goes full time I will suddenly have 6 hours a day to myself. I would like to spend some of this working and some volunteering, I would also like to go and be a reader in kids schools as I have never been able todo this before as always have has one child still at home during the day. I would also like to take some kind of course...this will be on top of running the business and looking after the kids and house. I cant bear to be bored and sit on my bum doing nothing!!!

Jamie that's a great idea volunteering with the sitting service. When you have a child with a disability you really appreciate just a couple of hours break as you know, and it would be lovely to give something back to a service personal to yourself.
Good Luck with the job application too:D
