Remembered 3 other good things in 2008 ~ discovered arrow keys on key board are for scrolling!!!! Removed Norton from computer, finally walking to school and its literally 2mins round corner ~ was lazy lady!!!

Finished ironing, yahoooooooooo! Just had home made soup for tea, bit hot too much pepper oops!

Off to the "FAMOUS!!!???" Dewsbury market tomorrow with SiL see if it is cheaper for fruit, veg and meat, and anything else we can think of! Also going to asda to price up pulses We are both trying to get to the end of the month on v tight budget then we can start afresh with store cupboard etc Have got a couple of weeks to go thru o/s board and do a list of things i will use to start cooking old style!!! Already done a sew made enough for 4wks unfortunately put too much pearl barley in its a bit.....glupey!!!!!!

Before i do that am going for more blood tests tomorrow, something came up in last lot, think its high colesterol, it's nothing to do with menopause anyway booooo! Got to wait for letter from docs before i know whats happening with that. Not good :mad: got to fast from now until been for tests in morning, can feel my tummy rumbling already:rotfl:

Updating before work,

Went to docs for more blood tests yesterday, :eek: cholesterol is 7.9:eek: and unfortunately there is blood disease and heart attacks on both sides of family:eek: so this is NOT good.....I am not going to let this get me down....looking at it as part of the whole new me so with the o/s cooking etc i should be able to bring it down, see what docs says next week! On the hormone side of things i've to go back in 3 months for more blood tests so no HRT ggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

On the positive side I have NOT started feeling sorry for myself and jumped back onto bingo site :j :A just because things aren't going my way YET!!! Very proud of myself:D

Went to Dewsbury market with SiL yesterday found a good fruit and veg stall
and butchers although i did not buy any meat Sil did and it was loads cheaper, got fruit and veg for week and it came to £5.03 and yes they took the 3p!!!! Also got freezer bags 400 for 90p and a sandwich (i know i know!) but hadn't had anything to eat since night before! !gunna have to see if ther e ok hope so, got myself a tin for saving £1 coins need tin opener to get into it so i shouldn't try to empty! Will ahve to decide what i'm saving for though!

Called at asda spent £2.15 on jam, drinking choc (low fat of course!) and salad cream (ditto) so didn't spend too much shopping wise, its a journey of discovery at the mo

On top of that though i now have to add cig money :eek: which was £6.83 that spoils the hard work:eek: really we're saving money on other stuff to support smoking......not good!

Felt very overwhelmed yesterday so had a little break! Can't really start on new regime until a week on tuesday! I want to do everything now but can't:rolleyes: we are skint:mad: so at the mo we living from the freezer and store cupboard and am just shopping for the very basics:o So i've got a week to sort out my shopping lists and food menus ! Trouble is then its the school hols:mad: Very positive point, oh is joining in now which he has never done before, we've been sat sorting out the meals and other stuff like decorating, which room first etc:j I have to say its a lot easier with him on board AND he doesn't have to move off the settee:rotfl: He'll still be there when i start decorating though:rotfl:

Had to come on and tell you this...........got a £5 tip today its only the 2nd one in 3 1/2 yrs!!!!!!! Sky news ppl came in for f&c spent over £45:eek: Bro said to charge £40 so the guy gave me the fiver:j Got a bit of extra shopping (treated the kids to a tub of ice cream)

Just read your thread and im loving it.Im going to subscribe and keep and eye on you.The site is addictive, my OH gets fed up with me lecturing him on things ive picked up here.
Since joining mse ive not made great inroads in my debt but I feel much happier and calmer and in control, I know every penny I have now and I never buy anything without first checking out quidco etc.
I do my shop online with money off coupons picked up here and my cooking skills are much better.

thanks saver, our debt is the same not going down :rolleyes: but as you say am much calmer...well as calm as i can be!!!! Just got to be more creative with cooking seem to get all motivated walk in kitchen and my mind goes blank:rotfl: sorry blanker!!!!

Helllllloooooooooo:D betcha thought i'd given up on diary already, well no i have been soooooooo busy!

Bertie had asked if i'd been on freebie board, i hadn't but i have now:D Competitions...nope, have now:D Bet i don't win owt though!

Also have been on o/s board collecting recipes and ideas! It is addictive.......;) better than bingo;) ... and NO haven't been on that for 3 weeks now:j
Have to say though i've been going through our bank statements to see were i/we are wasting money (apart from bingo) and i cringe everytime i see blue square :eek: :mad: :eek:

Had a horrible weekend kids were playing up and i was really grumpy with them:o Although cos oh was at home friday and saturday nights we stayed up late 12 o'clock:eek: so lesson learned when you normally go to bed at 9.30/10pm DON'T go to bed late 2 nights on the trot:rolleyes: God i sound like a right old f**t:rotfl:

Got a brill money saving idea........ my old doggy (17 in August!) piddled on the door mat on Thursday night so i scrubbed it with star drops and left it out in the rain to rinse it off:rotfl:



OMG last day of smoking tomorrow:eek:

i try my best you know:D , re sky people poor bloke didn't know what had hit him i kept pointing out that not all people from dewsbury were like the ones they'd been filming:rotfl: !!!!!!! no offence meant to anyone...but you know!!!!!!!!!
And i think it might be an idea to join the stop smoking thread.....didn't realise fro ages you could join loads of threads,at first i was just on dfw.. just call me homer doh! Don't know if the beginning of the hols is the best time to stop, kids ANDoh at home aaarrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh:eek: I'll have to go on there to keep my sanity oh no thats what my diary is for:p whats a girl to do:D
