Why are with profits endowments 'outdated' ?

Thanks for the expertise. So you think it's better to keep a unit linked endowment than a with profits one ?
There are about 28,000 unit linked funds (a lot of duplication with life and pension funds) and around 50 with profits funds. The best of both are worth keeping and worst of both are worth dumping.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

I appreciate that. The with profits is with CIS and the unit linked is with Axa. Can you give a pointer based upon that ? Thanks.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
