Good news! I will be moving in with my other half in August! Woohoo.
This means I should have an extra £100 spare a month to put towards my DMP. Which means my debts should be cleared within 3 years 6 months and I dont need to go bankrupt!! Phew! :T :T :T
Hope you are having a good day too!

Oh dear, what a cow. (Both of them, especially the one who denies it's her debt). I hate to sound headteacher-ish but I hope you've learnt a lesson there????
((((((((((((big hug))))))))))))) - you will sort it out, it's a big step to come in here and tackle your debt. Is there absolutely no legal way to make them pay?
Say they owe you £2000.... What about the good ol' trick where you send them an email saying they need to give you back the £5000 they borrowed from you and they angrily write back that it's not £5000, just £2000 - and there you ahve the proof in your hands? I know it sounds like a joke but it did work for me once and when the person realised how stupid they have been for falling to it, they paid up rather than going to court. Bear in mind it was a smaller sum...
:rotfl:
and if there is no legal way, then why not just give her mobile number to the DCA's that are harrassing you? No use other than revenge, but it will annoy the sh/// out of her..... and waste of time for DCA's, too...Total debt £3625.07.

Apparently an I VA isnt suitable for me.
I dont have enough debt lol
but also I dont have enough available funds. Apparently I need £15000 debt and surplus of £150 a month. Hohum.
Now I just need the £335 OR's Fee and I can go Bankrupt
the joy! Oh by the way I have decided this is the best option for me rather than waiting 7 years for debts to clear then 6 years for credit history to refresh. That would take 13 years!!
I am very much a live now kind of person as you dont know what will happen a year down the road.
one more thing here, your debt is not "bad enough" for an IVa or bankruptcy and this is a good thing! I know it seems huge and scary to you but it's manageable, especially if you have surplus. Well done on the extra £100.
If you haven't already arranged the DMP, I would have suggested shifting debt to 0% as it really does not look HUGE compared to some other ppls' debts here...Total debt £3625.07.

Unfortunately I have completely lost contact with all 3, or it may be more the case of they gave me the slip so i wouldnt chase them for payments Doh!
And yes i have so learnt my lesson: Do not trust any one when it comes to my credit rating! :wall:DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

So my DMP is due to start in April. I have chosen to go with CCCS as Payplan took ages to get back to me.
Yay! I am on my way. Debt to date £7022 as I cashed in all my overtime to clear one of the smallest debts! Yay!
On another note, I have decided that I hate BT  . An advisor told me I could send a payment by Standing order, and gave me all the details. I called up to check payment was received, none received as I had been given incorrect details. 3 weeks later still waiting for the refund that was promised would only take 5 days......BT suck - this is my personal opinion and unless they pull their socks up soon it will remain my personal opinion  rant over :cool:DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

All quiet on the western front at the moment. I haven't heard a peep from any of my creditors since I told them I was going on the DMP. This is a good sign I hope.
Also went shopping last night and spent £67 in Lidl and £7 in Netto as a result fridge, Freezer and cupboards are stacked! Food enough for me and my housemate, planning on topping up about £10-15 a week for Meat, Milk, bread, Fruit and Veg.
Will do a full on debt diary as of DMP start date (also payday) so i can suss out where I am going wrong
and if I can squeeze more out of my budget.
Hope everyone is having a lovely sunny day - just myluck to catch a heavy cold in this weather!! :mad:DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Well I have managed to get a chest infection, and ear infection and glue ear last week. So i couldnt go to work - i work in a call centre.
On the plus side I have saved so much money in just one week - £15 bus pass not needed, no bread/sandwich things needed etc. I have just been living off the soups i made after going to Aldi!
Now back at work, and I am really hungry my body is not used to having breakfast at 6am lunch at 12 and Tea at 6pm. Count down till lunch time has begun.
Finally my train tickets have arrived - I have been told that i have to go to my Mums for easter. I have managed to get train tickets for £85 return for both me and my boyfriend to go to Hampshire from Leeds. Yay!
DMP is starting soon already I have creditors agreeing to their offers! Wooohoo!:DDS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Ok so having saved money last week I think I have spent about the same just in one day.
King size Duvet 13.5tog + 2 Pillows = £18.50
They were really needed, mine are about 10years old and having spoken to one of my friends the other day I have found out that I am supposed to replace them every 5 years. Woopsy:rolleyes: Well they are now officially replaced.
I have also spent £4.49 on 2 books to be read on the train down to see my parents - 3 hours from Leeds to London then 1 hour from London to Farnham! I dont like the journey but I suppose once a year isnt too bad.
Total spend today £22.99
The big challenge now is to not spend money whilst visiting my parents.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Bad news my boyfriend has the flu and he's going to be travelling down to my parents with me. Its going to be like directing a Sleep walker through the london underground - cant wait!

Other than that everything else is brilliant, still quit smoking, exercising more, eating healthier... yay!
Hope you are having a good day too.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
