Can she not claim on insurance for the roof?
The weathers atrocious here so am off today as I want to keep my doors and can't risk passengers suing if a door blows back on them...hope the wether is better where you are...take care0 -
No insurance doesn't cover wear and tear so she says. She will get the money from her DF so isn't caring. Doesn't know how much the roof will cost yet. Indifference is the word I would use to describe her attitude.
Not as windy here as it was last night. I am off out just now should hopefully get finished by half 6. Don't see it being the busiest today. They have normally phoned me by now.£2 coin/ £460 -
Hope you've had a busy day!!....0

Not to bad a day. Made the target but it was a slog. Came back in here and cleaned the house and made pasta for Thursday and Friday nights tea. Had a nsd apart from diesel from takings. Cancelled mobile phones insurance, saving myself £18 a month. Put £26 in the credit union saved up from coins towards our holiday in September.
All in all a good day but, and it's a massive but we still don't know how much the house roof will cost, OH reckons her DF won't be able to lend her the money now. More debt heading our way by the looks of things.£2 coin/ £460 -
Well done on what you've achieved so far. You're very organised today.
I'm a little confused about something so forgive me for asking...I cannot work out about the wife situation. Is she you're wife and you are living with her or is she your ex wife now living with someone else?
From your postings I think she is your ex living with somebody else...if this is the case ...then why should you be responsible for the roof.
You don't have to answer me if you don't want but I'm a little confused.0 -
Partner, we have two houses. PM taxi73.
Not as bad as I was thinking it would be. Luckily the roofer is a friend of her Brothers. And me for that matter. He wants £2600 cash for it. I was thinking along the lines of £7k. I will be doing 4 out of the next 6 Saturday nights. Think of the weight I will lose not drinking :rolleyes2:£2 coin/ £460 -
Got it and replied..thanks...weight loss and money loss..can't be bad0

Meant to say I was approved for an egg card tonight as well. Well it was last week sometime and that is me just checking my email. Credit limit is £1250. I will b/t from the tesco card I think once I get it. Can I do more than one b/t if I pay off the original £1250? Stupid question I know. Never did it before though so have no idea how it works.£2 coin/ £460
