    Hi
Just wanted to say that we have an Abbey business bank account and it is free for life. You dont use the counter servies, just have a card and use the machine but we have had it since 2004 and never had a problem. I know a couple of people hwho have the same needs as us but wont consider it because it is machine only but it is fine once you get used to the idea.

    Good luck

Hope it went well today...you are really getting your head around things now..and it's surprising how quick it will come down now ...good luck
  • Not to bad a day hopefully tonight will be as good. Aiming for £200 off the o/d this week. Only require £187 of that now as I found £13 in my wading jacket inside pocket that I had on at the fishing last week. Knew that there was no way that I had spent £80. What a result. I shouldn't drink as much though.

Anyway better head out. Won't make anything sitting here:D

  • Another beautiful day here. Absolutely leathering it down and blowing a gale. Result:D

Not a bad day and night yesterday. Found £13, made my Friday target and got an oil and filter change using money that I was owed for accounts.

I also was sitting at 2.45am and one of my mates phoned for a lift. My OH started moaning about me going back out. I showed her the cc statement and told her once that was paid I could stop doing s**t like this. I got another £6 for that for 10 minutes work. I can't get through to her though.

I'm only working till 6 tonight as this is her weekend off. We are just staying in though. Suits me fine as I am a bit tired after this weeks efforts and will get an earlier start tomorrow.

It may be a good idea to go through all your finances with your OH and then at least she can understand what you are up against. It really does help to have your partner on board.
Hope you've had a good day today and that you enjoy your evening. It was ok here today just a little slow.
  • It's like talking to the wall with her. She thinks I am not serious about this. Never mind.

I'm off out til 2ish then thankfully it is pub time. One luxury I will never give up. If I am sitting in a motor 60+ hours a week I am entitled to 2 or 3 hours in the pub on a Sunday.

Hope you have a good weekend.

It can be quite tough having an OH who is a cabbie as my fella works all nights which makes us like ships that pass some weeks.

But he earns more than I do in two jobs so we just try to make the best of it.

On the plus side I can enjoy weekend nights out with my girls when I'm not working and when I have a weekday off from my main job me and wor lad can do stuff together.

And I never want for a taxi home!
