Thanks I will try them ..not due until july/august...Maybe the other person hasn't had his badge for 3 years or hasn't had his own taxi insurance before...also he may have points.
Ours is no points on any of our licenses me had badge for 3 years DH had his 20+ years but we have only had our own taxi for 3 years. When we first got taxi insurance DH got a letter from his old owner saying he hadn't had any accidents and they knocked £700 off...the first year was £2500 2nd £1700 third just over £1000 but for the first 2 years we had to have minibus insurance as the other car was a Zafira so classed as 6 seater...the new one is a brand new vectra...
Hope your day went as well as it could with having a funeral to attend and that the kids didn't stress you out too much.
  • Only went to the church didn't go to the cemetry or do after it.

Turned out I didn't have to watch the weans. That was a reslut.

Work was ok and that is about it I didn't get finished until just after 7.

Would have been a nsd but I need to go out with OH at 8.30 for a "drink". I'm taking the motor.

We got in touch with ins company you recommended and managed to get the premium down to £1,200! Thanks!

My OH has has had his badge for five years and has no points. He had his own ins for a year then went through his company.

He says his first year was £3,500!!! OMG

He is just an expensive guy..

  • I would also try Milestone Insurance - Taxi Elite who are specialists in Taxi Insurance 0845 271 1831.
They could save you a packet
  • Just in for Lunch. Been to the bank, used the fuel voucher, got a new points card, blagged free dinner off the oh. Did all this but I am gutted had to knock back a hire for £60 at 3 O'Clock as I am covering my DF's school hires

Howenver after fuel off it is only £45. I had better make that between 3-6 and it won't seem so bad.

Only another £60 to go into the bank and that is the mortage covered for another month :)
