I knicked them from some where else as well Scarlett

Jojo send the letter to Welcome recorded delivery. That way they cannot deny recieving it. If they phone after they have recieved it, keep a log of when they phone then report them for harrasment. Do you have caller display? If so don't answer their calls. If not don't answer the phone then do a 1471 and note it if it is them.
Get your DH to open a credit union account (google credit union and county/town) save £10-15 a week in there if you can and after 10/12 weeks you can get a loan from them, they then carry on taking your money and some goes to repay the loan and some goes into savings, win! win!

Thanks for your reply, sorry for the delay in replying but think there is a prob with Virgin's Broadband as it keeps dropping out all the time.
I have managed to look for the credit union in my area (when I have broadband!) and there isn't one set up yet, there is a website for it but it is still in the throws of being set up. DH's credit is poo as well and he has no income either. The word brick wall springs to mind at the moment. I cannot ask the family either as dont want them to know about it.
I don't know what to say to Welcome tomorrow when they call me and if I dont answer they will just knock on my frontdoor. I will send the letter to them though. How long does it take them from me stopping payments to them taking the car?
The no court fee's, do I have to pay them (as dont have a hope in hell) and then they refund them or do I just not pay them?

With CU's it doesn't matter what your credit history is like they are not like normal banks. It is all to do with community.
I would suggest you look for one in the next town etc. It is a good way of getting those fee's together. You will have to go in to them in person initially to open the account but you can set up a SO/DD to pay the money in weekly/monthly and if you have any extra then you can pop it in there. Have you looked around the rest of the board for ways to increase your income?
If Welcome knock on your door don't answer it, ignore them. They may not take the car. It will depend on how much you have left to pay etc. There are several threads on cars on here so have a read.
Give the court a ring explain your situation to them and get them to confirm you won't have to pay court fees, make sure you get the name of the person who confirms it. Then fill in the forms to take with you on the day with just the OR fees.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

I have rather a lot outstanding on the car as was only brought this time last year (when I was financialy floating) and have read the other threads but they all seem to have different outcomes. The car is worth less then when it was brought due to someone trying to make cars fly and landing them on my towbar. Do you think it will be worth answering the call to WF and saying that my wages have just substantialy gone down, I know they wont care but they might leave me alone for a bit?
Reading about the nearest CU to me it seems they look at you being employed or having some income coming but DH doesnt have any income so would it be worth me doing it in my name? They also offer a exress service where you can apply for a loan under £500 when you join them (I think) if you wanna see the link so I know I havent read it wrong you are more than welcome.
I wonder if it is worth booking the BR tomorrow and then that way I will HAVE to have the money put by. What do you think?
Thanks for all your help, I am feeling so useless, feel a trip to the docs for my PND being enforced on me by DH tomorrow.
This all feels like such a heavy weight on my shoulders at the moment.
I will give the courts a call tomorrowWins This Year - 2/1 Dog coat.

Also, you might be eligable to not have to pay the court fee, only (I know, "only") the OR fee of £335.00. Tigerfeet posted some links about this on another thread earlier on, hang on and I'll c&p them here for you
Thanks for the reply, I am getting all I am entitled to re Tax credits etc, so not much else i can do on that scale but wull call the court tomorrow to make sure I am at least exempt from some of the fee's.Wins This Year - 2/1 Dog coat.

The fee's nightmare continues, just rang my court re the fee's and they seem to think that despite me earning approx £10,000 when working and even less now I am on maternity pay only they seem to think i will have to pay some if not all of the fee's and they want 3 months of bank statements and wageslips to even consider looking at it.
So now have to save over £500 to proceed. How on earth will I ever manage this?
And i felt so postive this morning too.Wins This Year - 2/1 Dog coat.

Hi jojo,
If you make the Court appointment and take some proof of your maternity pay and benefits with you, then they'll almost definitely waive the Court Fees. I don't think I've ever seen anybody declined a waiver of the fees when they've been to Court.

Hi jojo,
We never had to go to Court because a kindly creditor did the deed for us, but from what I've read of other people's experiences the Court staff are very flexible when it comes to waiving the Court fees.
I'm sure others will confirm what I've said.
