6 months' free web hosting

2 days left to get 2.5GB web hosting, 20GB/mth bandwidth limit, a .co.uk domain, and various other features for free for six months. No credit card details required, apparently. See:
https://www.1and1.co.uk
I've not tried it out but hopefully it'll be of use to someone.

I use 1and1 for my domain names purchases, but I find they are over priced for their hosting, after any promotion periods, though since they are a fairly large company cant see them being down at all0

Thanks for the post, but I would stay away from 1&1. Have had nothing but trouble with them. And yes, they are overpriced.0

Cheapest 1&1 Web hosting package starts at £5 per month.
So is their special offer 6 months free, then £5 per month thereafter? (£30 first year, £60 thereafter)
Cheapest Netweaver Web hosting package starts at £20 per YEAR.
I have no affiliation with Netweaver other than as a very satisfied customer of their "does what it says on the tin" £20pa package, for which I conducted a considerable amount of price comparison research before purchasing. Netweaver are clear about their prices, they don't have free offers, but all-in-all they work out cheaper than most that do.0 -
Well I have signed up and just been given loads of webspace, bandwith, email accounts, ftp accounts, random features AND A FREE .CO.UK DOMAIN!!
All I really told them was my address and phone number and I got it all. No credit card, so I guess no commitment. Not bad in my opinion.0
