Yesterday I ordered some cooking stuff from Tesco direct, got a big stockpot as the biggest pan I currently have is a 16cm one so pretty pathetic, a couple of new saucepans, various pyrex dishes and a roasting tin.
It should get here either tomorrow or Tuesday(it's next day delivery but sometimes Aberdeen counts as an outlying area for some bizarre reason, so it takes longer).
I am SO excited! Already planning what lovely goodies I can make in my new dishes.
A big pot of soup will be first I think in my new stockpot, and I have a fruitbowl full of apples and pears which are on the turn so might attempt to stew and freeze those for future crumble use (actually can you stew pears?) and the first meal on next months meal plan will be a roast chicken, which I've never ever made before, mainly due to fear of poisoning everyone and lack of a roasting tin.
And now I can make casseroles, and pies and ooh all sorts! woohooo
