Sun Last Man Standing

SECTION 1 – DESCRIPTION

The Last Man Standing is a prediction game that takes place during the Regular Season and is limited to fixtures in the English Premier League. The objective is for each Entrant to correctly predict a winning team for each Matchweek, with Entrants being eliminated if their selected team does not win.

To participate, you must select one team from the Featured Fixtures that you believe will win in the relevant Matchweek. If your selected team wins, you will advance to the next Matchweek. For each subsequent Matchweek, you must select a different team from the list of Featured Fixtures, and you may not select any team that you have previously chosen in that series. This process continues until the earlier of: (a) only one participant remains in that series, or (b) the Regular Season concludes.

An LMS League is a competition format within the Last Man Standing Game in which participants compete against each other by selecting one team per Matchweek from the Featured Fixtures, aiming to remain in the competition by consistently picking winning teams. Each LMS League may be a Prize League, Challenge League, Private League, or Public League, and operates as a Series where Participants are eliminated if their selected team loses or draws. The objective is to be the last remaining Participant in the League, with the rules and progression applying as set out in these terms.

There are four Prize Leagues which run throughout the Regular Season, starting on the following dates:

Prize Leagues

Start Date

1

Matchweek 6 (10 Oct 2026)

2

Matchweek 10 (6/7 Nov 2026)

3

Matchweek 15 (18/19 Dec 2026)

4

Matchweek 22 (19/20 Feb 2027)

In addition to the Prize Leagues, Entrants can opt to join a Challenge League, which is a non-prize competition where participants compete to be the last remaining Entrant by correctly predicting a winning team each Matchweek. No prizes are available for winning a Challenge League.

Participants also have the option to join or create a Private League or a Public League, allowing you to compete against family, friends, and colleagues.

SECTION 1.2 – HOW TO PLAY AND RULES

1.2.1 Eligibility

Dream Team Last Man Standing is available to play on the Website and Apps.

In order to submit an entry in Dream Team Last Man Standing you must be registered for Dream Team 2026/27.

To be eligible for prizes, you must meet the criteria set out at Section 2.1 of the General Terms & Conditions.

1.2.2 How to play

Participants must select one English Premier League team from the Featured Fixtures that they believe will win in that Matchweek. The deadline for selection is the scheduled kick-off time of the first Featured Fixture in the relevant Matchweek (the “Matchweek Deadline”). Participants are able to select a team by clicking on the radio button on the row of the team that they wish to select. They must then click ‘Save pick’ to confirm their selection.

If you successfully select a team that wins in the Matchweek, then you will proceed to the next round.

In the next round, you must select a team from a list of all of the teams in the Featured Fixtures for that Matchweek, but you cannot select a team that you have previously picked in that Series. For example, if you select Crystal Palace to win in Matchweek 1, then you will not be able to re-select Crystal Palace for any matches for the rest of that Series.

If you are participating in an LMS League and you have survived for twenty consecutive Matchweeks, then the restrictions on team selections are reset so that all twenty teams are then available for selection, from which point the restriction on re-selecting teams will re-commence.

If your selected team doesn’t win (i.e. loses or draws), then you are eliminated from that Series.

If you fail to select a team by the Matchweek Deadline, then you will be randomly allocated a team from any of the teams who you have not previously selected during that Series.

1.2.3 Leagues, Matchweeks and Featured Fixtures

The Last Man Standing Game consists of several types of competitions, each with its own rules and structure:

  • Prize Leagues: Open to all Participants, with cash prizes for the “Last Man Standing.” See Section 1.2.5.1 for more details.
  • Challenge Leagues: Non-prize leagues that allow participants to play additional Last Man Standing games. See Section 1.2.5.2 for more details.
  • Private Leagues and Public Leagues: Leagues created by participants to compete with friends or the public. See Section 1.2.5.3 for more details.

For each LMS League, a Series concludes on the earlier of the following:

a) Only one Participant remains in that Series; or

b) The Regular Season ends and there are no matches remaining.

Featured Fixtures will only include matches from the English Premier League played from Friday to Monday (inclusive).

A Matchweek starts at the Matchweek Deadline and ends when the final Featured Fixture of that Matchweek has concluded.

  • If a Featured Fixture is rescheduled to outside of the current Matchweek before the Matchweek Deadline, it will be omitted from that round. Affected Participants can choose another team up until the Matchweek Deadline.
  • If, after the Matchweek Deadline, a Featured Fixture is removed from the Matchweek for any reason, Participants who selected either team in that Featured Fixture will automatically go through to the next round, but will not be able to select that team again.

A new Matchweek opens after the final Featured Fixture concludes, at which point all remaining Participants can select a team for the next Matchweek.

1.2.4 Duration

Each LMS League will continue until the earlier of (i) only one Participant remains in that Series, with all other Participants eliminated, or (ii) the Regular Season finishes before only one Participant remains.

If all remaining Participants in an LMS League are eliminated in the same Matchweek, all of those Participants will be deemed to have ‘survived’ and the LMS League will continue to the next Matchweek.

1.2.5 Leagues

Participants may enter Prize Leagues, Challenge Leagues, Private Leagues, and Public Leagues.

Unlike the Fantasy Game, in LMS Leagues participants are identified by their real name, not by a team name.

1.2.5.1 Prize Leagues

Each Prize League is open to all eligible participants, and cash prizes will be awarded to the “last man standing” in each league. Four separate Prize Leagues will be held during the Regular Season, with start dates as set out in Section 1. Participants may enter any Prize League for which they are eligible, and more than one Prize League may run at the same time if previous leagues are still ongoing.

You are only permitted to have one entry in each Prize League. However, you may participate in more than one Prize League at the same time if you are eligible. For example, if you are still competing in Prize League 1 when Prize League 2 begins, you may also enter Prize League 2. Please see Section 1.3.1 for information on the cash prizes available for each Prize League.

1.2.5.2 Challenge Leagues

These are our non-prize leagues offering you the opportunity to play a separate Last Man Standing game in addition to the Prize Leagues.

There will be a new Challenge League starting each Matchweek between Matchweek 7 (MW7) and Matchweek 28 (MW28), except for Matchweeks 10, 15 and 22. These Challenge Leagues will run concurrently until their respective conclusions.

Participants can only join one Challenge League at a time. If a Participant is eliminated from a Challenge League, they can join the new Challenge League for the subsequent Matchweek.

No prizes are awarded for winning a Challenge League.

1.2.5.3 Private and Public Leagues

Participants may create or join both a Private League and a Public League at any time during the Regular Season. After registering for the Game, Participants can choose to become a Chair (the creator of a League) or join an existing Private or Public League, provided that the League has not already started.

Chairs can create either a Public League or a Private League, as follows:

  • A Public League is open to all participants. No PIN is required to join, and these Leagues can be found using the search function in the ‘Leagues’ section.
  • A Private League can only be joined by participants who have received a unique PIN for that League or who have followed a direct invitation link from the Chair.

The Promoter does not endorse or permit the exchange of money between participants in any LMS Leagues; such exchange is strictly prohibited and the Promoter is not involved in and does not accept any responsibility or liability regarding any such monies exchanged.

No prizes are awarded for winning a Public or Private League.

1.2.5.5 Creating a Public or Private League

There is no limit to the number of Private or Public Leagues that can be created.

A Chair can create a Private or Public League up until the start of the commencement of MW28.

A Private or Public League will finish at the earlier of:

a) when only one Participant remains in that League; or

b) when the Regular Season ends and there are no matches remaining.

Any Public or Private Leagues created after the Matchweek Deadline will become active from the next available Matchweek.

A Chair can select any future Matchweek for the League to become active, up until MW28.

Upon creation of a Private or Public League, a Chair will need to set the following criteria:

League Name – a name can be up to 30 characters. The Promoter reserves the right to change any name deemed inappropriate or, in extreme cases, to remove the League and expel the Chair.

Privacy setting – select whether the League is Public (open to all) or Private (invite only).

1.2.5.6 Joining a Private or Public League

A participant may join a Public League without any invitation. This can be done via the search facility available in the ‘Leagues’ section. No PIN is required to join.

To join a Private League, you must be invited by the Chair or be issued with the unique PIN for that League. Participants who follow the invite link from a direct invitation will not be required to enter the PIN.

There is no limit to the number of Leagues a Participant can join.

Participants can only join a League when it is in an ‘Open’ status; once a League is active, no new Participants may join.

1.2.5.7 Removing teams From a League

Participants can elect to leave a Private or Public League at any time, or can be removed from a Private or Public League by its Chair. However, a Chair cannot remove themselves from their own Private or Public League.

Under no circumstances will the Promoter award more than the Prizes specified in the table in this section 1.3.1 above for the Prize Leagues. The Promoter’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1.3.2 Challenge Leagues, Private Leagues and Public Leagues

There are six game periods. The end date is based on kick off of the first match of the first game period to give those who comp by date a chance to enter the first one before the competition starts.
