Where is the best place to buy embroidery style name tags ?

As per the title ..

Where is the best place to buy embroidery style name tags for school uniforms please.

My daughter asked me to find out, as she previously used the simple 'write on' labels but they aren't very good.

Any links would be helpful

thank you

I always bought my sons' labels from here - Cash's name tapes

Hi, I used Cash's for my children. It was 25 years ago though but some are still going strong!

Find the stick on labels. They are a game changer, indestructible and stay on.

You can put them in shoes and the writing does not wear off, stick to anything… amazing

The hours lost by my parents sewing in labels… I buy them as an adult for jackets etc

I always found stick-on or iron labels either didn't stick, or could never be removed when clothes were handed on. I have no issue with sewing in front of the TV, or in a zoom meeting.

I use Sharpie pens for things which won't get handed on though.

I have just spent the morning sewing name tapes into my granddaughter's uniform in advance of her starting primary school in September. I bought the tapes from Amazon, 72 woven name tapes for £9.25 - I am not sure how that compares with Cash's (I always used those when my daughters were small) but there was free postage and they arrived 24 hours after my order.

For info, when Youngest got married 10 years ago, I gave his new wife his leftover name labels 😊

My daughter gets them from Cash's then asks me to sew them on as " you do it much better than me Mum"

I also sew on Scout and Beaver badges and think that the first badge they do should be a compulsory sewing badge.

The school uniform supplier will have a link where you can order them. John Lewis always does

It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
